Free PS4

The new console by Sony is coming out soon, and everyone wants one. With many changes and improvements, this new system is sure to rock the sales when it comes out on November 15. It is expected to be even more popular than Microsoft’s Xbox One. With this, you may find it interesting to know that it is possible to obtain a free PS4. We’ll get back to that thought later however.

The PS4 was first unveiled at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in June. The PlayStation 4 will be powered by an X86 CPU and an enhanced graphics processor with 8GB of memory. Sounds impressive? Well maybe. I for one have never understood those terms. I simply love the incredible selection of games that will be coming to the PS4. Grand Turismo 6 was displayed, with Sony announcing that it will be released for the PS3 on 6 December. Sony also stated that the following titles will be available at launch: War Thunder, Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag, and Minecraft.

Available in 32 countries worldwide, the PS4 promises to be very popular. Priced at $399 in the US and £349 in the UK. The price of the previous-generation PS3 will also be cut to $199 in the US and €199 in the European market. Wouldn’t it be nice to get a free PS4?

Microsoft stated that the Xbox One will on sale in November as well, but they have not given a specific date. They confirmed yesterday that all pre-ordered Xbox One consoles will come with FIFA 14. They also said that they will be working with Activision and Infinity Ward to make an exclusive Call of Duty: Ghosts bundle. The cost difference between the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 is $100 however. Sony’s PlayStation 4 is the cheaper of the two, which will surely make for intense competition. Many think that the PlayStation 4 will win this generation.

I personally am a huge PlayStation fan, but it is nice to have competition between the two consoles. One thing you learn in business is that competition causes both companies to fight for customers, giving the customers better prices and motivating the companies to keep innovating to get the edge over the other.

A game that will appear on the PS4 that has been receiving a lot of hype is Grand Theft Auto 5, or more commonly known as GTA V. Rockstar games has outdone themselves with this one, and the game promises to be epic. Mark my words here; this will be one of the bestselling games of all time. No doubt about it. The immense world and open ended gameplay gives gamers so much to do. Gaming has never been better.
